We photographed Tara at Vanderbilt Mansion, and had a ton of fun. I only wish that we had more time before they kicked us out :) Tara, you are a beautiful girl and congrats on graduating high school, I hope you are enjoying college!

Apple Picking!

Sunday was ten years since 9-11. Crazy how much has changed since then. Ten years ago I was in Jr. High School, so unaware of just how much evil exists in this world. I was just a little kid then, and I suppose I still am just a kid. But in ten years I've graduated from high school, Word of Life Bible Institute, Rocky Mountain School of Photography and I've started my own business. I'm pretty sure ten years ago my biggest concern was if the boy in the seat behind me liked me or not. Sweet innocence. So ten years later and I find myself apple picking with my boyfriend. We had fun, picking apples and thinking of where we were ten years ago, and how crazy it is that God has brought us together. I can say I sure am looking forward to the next ten, wherever God will lead.

Florida

Just got home yesterday from a quick trip to Florida. Kinda like a vacation. Spent a day supporting my baby brother at his graduation from Word of Life Bible Institute. Then drove back home. It was a whirlwind of spanish moss, humidity and palm trees. Got to spend some time at the beach, good thing cause we got some fun pics! :)

airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars

Sometimes, its just fun to take my camera point it at the sky and see what it records. Or to create something for it to record. I always forget how much I really love taking images after the sun has set. I so easily forget just how many stars there are. Just how small I really am. Its exciting, intriguing art.
